First off, remove your TV from your mount, completely. The pieces have plenty of room to fit cords. Leave cables intact. I say remove the TV because you may want to get up and behind the TV, and you do need space. Lay out the ones you need, paint them, and check your wall.In the bag of screws there is a nail. You need that to pound a hole in the wall where the screws will fit in; the screws don't bite in on their own and trying to do it without the nail results in a lot of scratches.
So you have 10 small 8inch covers, when they are mounted on the wall they have a small gap at each connection, which does not look good on a wall. I bought this to cover wires on my walls, I thought it would be a good product. What they say is that it covers up to 10 feet of wire, but that ten feet comes in about small 8 inch sections of cover. Cheap product. looks ugly when installed.
